Seeking Vision Gaining Success Foundation (SVGS) is a fund that empowers, educates, and encourages deserving and committed African-American male scholars to attend Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
ABOUT
SVGS Foundation was established to support Historically Black Colleges and Universities, the scholars who attend them, and the communities that they come from. SVGS Foundation primarily creates opportunities through the Walker Williams Wilson Memorial Scholarship Fund. Dedicated to the memory of HBCU alums who enormously impacted the spaces they graced, the scholarship supports deserving black male scholars who choose to attend HBCUs personally and financially and the communities they hail from through service. The SVGS Foundation is committed to creating avenues of opportunity by being the needed change. Its mission is to empower, educate, and encourage deserving and committed African-American male scholars to attend Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
THE CHALLENGE
To design a refreshed logo that embodies the HBCU culture, empowers young African American males, pays homage and legacy to departed fellow Hampton University alums, and drives brand recognition with potential donors and corporate sponsors.
